@Gutierrez Gerdardo BTW try recharging your car battery or better change the battery cause that's probably the case .

Oil rustproofing does a great job. Keeps the inner door mechanicals lubricated and keeps the rust away. Works great up here in Buffalo. Anywhere that uses road salt, that stuff will eat through anything, oil rustproofing done every 2 years keeps rust away.

If your car is low miles and fairly new and clean, no dings scratches and such carmax will give you a good price. I sold them one that I bought new and wanted out from the loan. They gave me more than i could of sold it for anyway.

Would choose a Saab convertible over a Toyota for safety any day.

I have the best of all worlds: a convertible-hard top, Toyota--the Lexus SC430 (built in Japan). I hope I never have to fix the convertible top, because it's complicated, but because it is a Toyota, my odds of it being reliable are great!

Opposite side to this argument, I bought a Mercedes 190 with rust problems, and blowing piston rings, I've sorted the rust, and I've got a 2.3 m112 v6 engine ready to go in from a donor car, so my £550 banger is going to end up being an awesome car.

Hey, Scotty! I have a 2002 Accord that accumulates water in the rear right passenger foot well when it rains hard. I've checked the sunroof drains, blew air through them, but no clogs. I've also checked the door drains and it's all clear there. It's just that ONE foot well. Nowhere else! Any idea where the water can be coming from?

well i dont know exactly about zinc coating on some cars, my mum has a 2007 corolla and its getting surface rust around some machined holes on the body. some new cars are nasty with steel protection, my boss owns a small 2010 1.2l barina spark and its made in north korea and it had rust coming through the back of the body where the rear hatch is its almost as if they gave it a coat of primer and just barely got a top coat of red on and after some many years rust is forming where the top coat and primer has worn off.
new cars are made with recycled steel and they will rust very quick thus they need to be coated very well in primer.

I bought a Volvo S60 that has this exact problem (many of your picutres are Volvo pictures), but I have never seen this before on any of my cars, so I didnt pay any attention to it. The car burns 8 quarts of oil every 10.000 miles. I wish I knew what this was prior to buying the car. Well, it runs, just gotta top of the oil.

Hey Scotty, I wanted your opinion on two cars:

a 1989 Toyota Celica as a first car, my main concerns are if it runs as well, and long as the model you have from around 1994.

a 1991 Toyota Supra MK III for later on down the line, I am less concerned with it long lasting (because i am probably going to drive it like its a supra lol) I just want to know any major complaints like engine or transmission problems. i am looking for a standard transmission because I don't want the hassle of possible automatic transmission recalls or issues).

and have yourself a good day.

If water splashed some drops into the air suck hole of the engine when i filled the windshield water, could it get into the engine and damage it? and more than that, how does the rain doesnt suck into the engine in the winter from the front when we drive? i always wondered...

We found an excellent condition 2007 RAV4 through a private seller for $5300. Only 3 owners, no accidents, maintained well with great tires, synthetic oil changes etc, EXCEPT the mileage is 200,000. Toyotas are reliable, but is this a good purchase? Seller is getting rid of it because he upgraded to a Highlander for his family and young daughter has an older RAV4 already.

Toyota made a car in the '60s that looked a lot like an MG, I remember it having 2000 in its designation. It was a ragtop. I looked up Toyota 2000 and found a car made from '67 to '70, but I've never seen it before
