2001 f250 running good with 308k but I think u joints might be going out up front I was getting squeaks from front driveline when I jacked it up and spun the front tires by hand, might do the ones one hubs but doesn’t seem as easy as the drive line ones. A spark plug replacement might help as I notice this week my gas mileage went lower than usual

You made this video 2 years too late; I bought a used 2008 Honda Ridgeline RTL with 100K miles...I'm at 145k miles now and honestly it's been pretty good. No major issues thus far - just regular oil changes. Only complaint is the truckbed is too short for full sized sport motorcycles. Hoping to switch back to a F150 or Ram 1500.

My company bought a used Dodge Ram 2500 turbo diesel 2004 and we had to dump 10 k into it. I drove the dog snot out of it towing big boats long long distance for 4 years and it was pretty good. Only had a water pump go bad on it and the cruise control went out.
The other suv we had that was amazing was the sequoia and we beet the crap out of it. It never quit.

I’ve had my Ridgeline for about 9 years. It’s got 135k with only having to replace the door lock module. You’re right though, it’s crap at towing, and I wouldn’t want to tax the tranny too hard. For light duty it works well.

@Richie Morgan yeah it is the original motor runs great. The transmission "D" light will sometimes notoriously flash but it it shifts great and fluid levels are perfect. My 2004 bmw zhp 330i on the other hand. Has been a totally different beast. It is a blast to drive but damn the amount of crap I've replaced lol. Back to the truck. I agree with the trunk. I keep a few tools and things back there. The only downfall is having something un the bed and getting a flat tire. I had my harley in the bed and felt with that, good fun. I have had it on so many trails from my army days going out to training sites and ranges. Had a 2010 silverado, very cheaply made in my opinion. Dash cracked, interior was extremely bland, lifter problems at 40k. It may not be a frame on ladder pickup, but I can hall my harley in the bed and a pop up camper perfectly fine. And its lifted haha.

Brandon, I did so much work with that truck it was insane snow look at it. On both my 07 an 11 I never had a single mechanical issue. It was by far the best truck I have had for those that get their hands dirty. Is that 325k is it the original motor? I used to mountain bike I wish I had this to take to the trails. The trunk was genius yet no one really knows about it. Why other companies don’t integrate and compete, throw a trunk in the bed and watch. All vehicles have a weak spot historical data tells us that but Honda’s for the most part had and have some of the best cars, SUVs and mini vans. Thank you for letting me live a free life and became what I wanted to do with my life because of your sacrifice. Thank your for serving Brandon.

I would NEVER buy ANYTHING with "GOAT" written on it. Why don't they call it the Dodge "POSSUM" or the Dodge "Buzzard". And so on. I NEVER buy ANYTHING that runs on Gasoline. Diesel Only for me. I never buy ANYTHING rated lower than 3/4 Ton, and the smallest truck I have owned in the last 30 years is a ONE TON FORD Diesel. F-350 MINIMUM. I would not have a "F-150" as a gift, they are gasoline only, so not for me.

Only issue I ever really had was it wouldn't keep alignments to save my life. (finally found a good place to do it and it kept) What made me get rid of it was I trust the wrong transmission shop to service that 8speed. No warranty left I traded it. Got a Tacoma now as I don't need a full size truck anymore. I think the Rams are good trucks IF you don't mind keeping up with them. If I could go back in time and start over though, I would have bought an f150.

OVERLORD GS most people who buy pickups nowadays don’t buy them to haul anything serious. For everyday utility I can understand why someone would buy a vehicle like a ridge line. It rides better than a truck and has the dependability of a Honda. But when I think of a truck I think of hauling and towing. Otherwise I’d buy an SUV. I appreciate your honesty though.
