Will the Saints win the Super Bowl this season?

Speak For Yourself If saints make it to the Super Bowl we’d have to be recognized as one of the greatest NFL teams of all time. To make it there without Brees for half the season would be greater than our first Super Bowl. And the season will never be surpassed by another saints team.

Brees is great but he’s got inflated stats. . He has more passing attempts then Manning or Brady . He also has more Interceptions

Brees is 8/7 in the playoffs. That means he made the playoffs 8 times. Peyton was 14/13 in the playoffs. That means he made the playoffs 15 times in his career. Peyton has more touchdowns, more rings, more playoff appearances and wins, more 4th qtr comebacks, more MVP's. The only times peyton missed the playoffs were his rookie year and his neck injury season. This question is ludacris. They aren't even close. Drew has been to 1 superbowl. Peyton has been to 4. They talk about peyton choking in the playoffs. Drew couldn't choke when he couldn't even make the playoffs. Don't tell me had a bad defense. What was peyton carrying around in Indy? Tony G aside, this panel is a bunch of idiots. Looking at you Reggie.

Was a pleasure to be able to watch both Manning and Brees sling the ball around.

Who’s the greatest quarterback of all time, Brady or Brady? Hard choice when he sits alone at the top.

I think both of them can be on it together because Brees is the only QB to have multiple 5000 yard seasons

Andrew Fung yea if you have to throw for all those yds each season it’s means your defense is garbage.

Let’s look at those 4 seasons Brees missed the playoffs. One they had the bounty gate & no coach. Two of them they had some of the worst defenses ever to take the field. Can’t blame Brees for throwing 5000 yards & 30 TDs & going 7-9. 🤷‍♂️

Rings are nothing but Possessions. Your Greatest Players especially the Quarterbacks like Kurt Warner, Drew Brees, Brett Favre, and so on do NOT wear their Rings.

                                Peyton Manning:
                                - 2 x Super Bowl Champion
                                - 4 x AFC Champion (Beat Patriots 3 times on way to SB)
                                - 5 x NFL MVP
                                - 7 x First Team All Pro
                                - 55td season (broke record)
                                - 5477yds (broke record)
                                - Led highest scoring offense n the history of the NFL

                                - Changed the position

                                Drew Brees:
                                - 1 x Super Bowl Champion
                                - 1 x NFC Champion
                                - 0 x NFL MVP
                                - 1 x All Pro (Don't even know if it was first team either)
                                - NFL career yards leader

To me there's no question in my mind who should be ranked higher all time, and the question is a little ludicrous. They're both great, but it's not much of a debate. I think my opinion on the matter should be obvious in regards to which one of these greats I'm referring too.

Peyton Manning is overrated as a QB in the NFL. Yes, he changed the way the quarterback position is played, but aside from the regular season, his postseason resume isn't good enough. Lost againts the saint, lost horribly to the Seahawks, won against the bears (one of the worst teams to go to the Super bowl ever), and won against the Carolina Panthers (again, one of the worst teams to go to the super bowl the last 20 years). He may not even be the better QB the broncos had that season (ouch) they won. He did play ok, not good, not great, not bad, against the Bears and the Saints. He played bad against the Seahawks, and he played horribly against Carolina. He got the MVP against the Bears, but in reality, he didn't deserved it. Drew Brees doesn't have the regular seasons MVPs Peyton has. Brees hadn't had the stability of the Colts and Broncos teams Manning had. Brees do have a Super Bowl MVP, a Super Bowl MVP he deserved, and it was against Peyton Manning's team. With one more Super Bowl in Brees pocket (and being a vital part in that run), and continue surpassing Mannings records, the career of these two men would be a lot closer than a lot of people would like it to be. For me right now, Manning is comfortably ahead of Brees, but it's not over...By the way, Eli Manning, did deserved to be the MVP of both Super Bowls the giants won with him, and he played a lot better than Peyton in the Super Bowl, coming clutch in both games. Both wins were HUGE, both against New England, and one of those were against the only Perfect 18-0 team to go to the Super Bowl in NFL History, so Eli deserved a lot of credit for those wins...

To be completely honest, Brees should have never even made his Super Bowl. It should’ve been Brett Favre if the defense didn’t decide to pull dirty hits all day on a 42 year old man. And since then, Brees has made no more appearances and won zero MVPs. He’s just racked up a lot of passing stats and that’s it! Not that great of an accomplished QB. Should be ranked below Dan Marino let alone Manning

Manning’s 5 MVPs cements him as easily the second greatest QB of all time. Along with basically every passing record although Brees has since passed him in a few. Combine that with a respectable 2 SB wins and 4 appearances and the single greatest season of all time and you get a resume that’s almost impossible to beat

Now that this 2001-2020 era is coming to an endm these late 30s - early 40s QBs better fight to the death for a ring this year, because the Patrick Mahomes, Jared Goff, Deshaun Watson, & Dak Prescotts are here to take over the next Era
