In the Video Op-Ed above, we trail Guillermo Piñeda Morales, a.k.a. Memo. He clocked a 2:28:42 at this year’s Boston Marathon, placing him in the top 10 marathon runners for his age group globally. That’s very fast.
The American fitness industry is worth $30 billion, but Memo’s not in on the trend. He won’t pop up in your Instagram #fitspo feed and you won’t get a glimpse of him at your gym. But if you’re at the New York City Marathon this Sunday — or if you have a resolution to run a marathon next year — Memo is likely to be whizzing past you.
What’s Memo’s trick? Well, you can find that in the video. But it’s far simpler and cheaper than anything else out there.

Why he look like the skinny not bald, version of The Rock
I respect that he feels like he doesn't need a bunch of tracking devices to make him a better runner but it should be no stab to those that like using these devices to track their progress.
Sure I just got a new watch but prior to that I was using an old hand-me-down. I just got tired of it rarely uploading at times and then taking forever to connect to GPS.
Also, running may be advertised as something that's free but nothing in life is free. You need to change your shoes up every 300-400 miles. And that's an investment that adds up over time.
Other than that I'm very minimalistic when it comes to the rest of my gear.

If memo doesn't belive anything so why don't he wear any stuff say to him run naked... And reverse.
