My brother repos cars and I use to help him and man do we have some stories. We once picked up an old vw bug front end and moved it over because he was using that to block in his car that was out for repo. We also caught a women cheating on her husband in the back of her car when we went to hook it up.

It's easy to tell when it's one of the 15-25% true and the rest is BS. When someone laughs in the middle of a sentence that is in no way funny, you know they are making it up. It's a nervous reaction/time buyer.

At 1:39, those first VATS keys didn't have a computer chip, it was simply a resistor. Many people eventually had problems with the super-thin wires coming from the ign. cylinder. You could wire in a 10 cent resistor from Radio Shack and defeat the system.

If someone breaks a contract, the law should get involved. The tactics that this guy used really make him look like a piece of sh!t. If he had been shot dead while in someone’s home, admittedly “stealing” something from the property, he would’ve deserved every bit of it. That’s NOT to say that someone not paying their bills is okay in any way, but repo men are the barnacles on the underbelly of the car industry.

Since my days in Houston in the 80s as a teenager, I still to this day hang my hands out the window when pulled over by cops. Sometimes they respect that and sometimes they think, this guy is strangely experienced and we need to further investigate!

I ran security for an associate in the 90s who had a black Chevy dually with a hydraulic hideaway tow rig in the bed like this guy mentioned! No crazy stories though. One guy in the middle of the night heard us out in his front yard and came outside and handed us the keys. That’s the way most of them go. It’s the psychopaths that think they’re entitled to someone else’s blood sweat and tears for free!

The mid 80s Hyundai excel was the shittiest car I ever dealt with. I did make money off of several 3 to 5 year old Excels. I would often find a perfectly clean low mile Excel with a bottom end knock at the auctions for $300 and since no one else wanted them I would snatch them up, drop the oil pan and “hammer” a new set of main bearings in and triple my $ at the next auction.....

My B.S. meter rings high with this guy.

I worked for a used car lot (pot-lot that sold a few really nice, used cars, but *_mostly_* they were cars we got from the auction for $500 or less). Buy-here-pay-here was the absolute best way to go. Many poor people, for some reason, don't have checking accounts. So they bring us their paychecks. We cash them (at no charge) and take the car payment out for them. We almost NEVER had to go hook a car that way.

Also who gave him the right to judge who deserved to get their repo’d and who didn’t. How did he make those judgement calls? Based on what into?

Instead of towing cars he said he would go cruising to the beach looking for girls in stolen Mercedes or go racing in someone else’s car. That person might be able to go pay the back payments the next day yet his car was abused and had extra miles on it because of this douche bag.

Last story is a cop telling him not to move and probably telling him to put his hands up with her finger on the trigger yet he decides to make movements but asks the cop not to shoot. Really smart
