I know Mercedes sucks it has allot of mechanical issue in there engines, and my dad’s colleagues says to my dad he owns a Mercedes and he ask my dad don’t buy Mercedes Benz because it has allot of issue for that brand, 🤔 I wonder why Mercedes courses so many problems?

His videos have some good information but I think he’s worked on cars for so long that he secretly hates them he never says anything good about any car his next video will be why you should buy a buss pass I bought two used BMW’s a 1 series and a 3 series I never maintained them well I got them at a good price one from a car auction and one from a used car dealership both at around 60,000 miles the 1series lasted up to 190,000 I drove it fast every day barely washed it drove it on low oil and eventually the timing chain went I traded it in for the 3 series and so far so good they’ve served me well

This dude always craps on German luxury cars, but I know for a fact I would rather be on the road with a Merc or a BMW than a Honda, Nissan, or Toyota. BMW and Merc are a heck of a better ride than those three and more fun to drive. There’s a reason Hondas and Toyotas are cheaper, and when I’m in them they feel cheap. And let’s not forget who made the first car...Daimler..in other words Mercedes. Nissan, Honda, and Toyota wouldn’t even exist if it weren’t for Mercedes lol.

MB had always had better engine than BMW, also less plastic , here in Europe is not for anything taxi is mostly MB 250, can go 1million km. AND BMW has bad diesel engine.

In Europe, BMWs and Mercedes lose their value very slowly. They both have some of the highest resale value of any car brand. There is definitely some bias in this point of view.

Every merc older than 25 years is more enjoyable AND reliable than any toyota on the market.
Hey even new ones are more enjoyable despite having more issues.
But hey, I'd certainly pick a merc over a 1994 celica any day.

He is right about the plastic. I had a 2010 bmw and the cooling hose cracked and ripped they were charging me and arm and a leg to fix it. No mechanic shop could fix it so I had to take it to a bmw dealer(which they were very rude and lousy service). With money I was gonna fix it I bought bought a Corolla and it had never failed and I gave the beamer away for free.

This guy knows what he’s talking about. In general, the two most sought out luxury cars for decades has always been BMW and Mercedes. Unfortunately, there quality has declined significantly. Especially, BMW. And yes, it’s from using cheaper parts, mainly plastic. And the investment in car technology is so high it accounts for more than 50% of the cars value. It’s way smarter to Lease because most car companies will not offer more than 15,000 miles in a year. So Most people will not have the car long enough to experience the common problems you get after 50,000 miles. Knowing from friends and co workers the repairs are disastrous for BMW and Mercedes. The amount of maintenance costs could probably amount to buying an upper tier Hyundai.

The lady bought it a few months prior and with in a few weeks of owning it her starter went out as well that it needed brakes. She found out how expensive those repairs were and even though she bought it without a warranty she was able to get the dealer to pay for it. But last night the reason for her tow was that the car had stopped running.

We Americans paid for their new, modern factories and success, there is nothing of intrinsic value in these companies - they use our money and then claim how great they are but Trump has finally stopped the Marshall Plan and the German economy is tanking - as it should.

I know I will hit a deer with one... pretty much every car I've ever owned has taken at least one deer. I dodge at least one deer a day so in 2 years that is 700 I've missed... sooner or later one sneaks up on me.

It's definitely costing me less in repairs than another car payment. I've been driving an M3 for nothing while schmucks buy a new crappy Honda or Toyota every 5 years. I'll pay less and drive a vastly superior vehicle. Be sure to buy a manual, auto can cost a fortune in repairs.

I mainly drive a 2015 Honda CR-Z, and soon upgrading to a 2018, 2019, or 2020 vehicle from either Toyota or Honda. Specifically, I’m looking at a Honda Civic, Honda Civic Type-R, Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, or Toyota Corolla. I wonder which vehicle out of those choices is a great choice, especially for Houston and its bipolar conditions.
