- Together myself and eBay Uk are building our 3rd Star Wars creation, we've made a huge AT-ACT Playhouse, a FULL SIZE Tie Silencer and now to celebrate the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker - Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder from the first film, A New Hope.
But out of Metal........This is no easy task.

It only hopped and never worked Wright. I would like to see reinvented craft hoover craft like I mentioned.

The original land speeder was based on a Manx dune buggy, which is a VW Beetle chassis with a Manx fiberglass body. Funny thing, a local kid lucked up and found a Manx body for $300 and a VW chassis (including a damaged engine) for $200 about a year ago. He spend less than a year in his spare time at a body shop to rebuild the motor and build it up. He had never painted or done bodywork on fiberglass before. It's pretty cool.

Ah yes... This is just speculation but I think that Disney is still trying to build hype by showing old Star Wars stuff and getting ebay and Colin to build a OG landspeeder.

Hey @colinfurze you should’ve put a few breaks in the body shell and under the breaks strategically placed circuit boards to give the impression it’s a highly complex and technical piece of vehicular equipment. Totally fantabulous build tho if I do say. 👌🏽
