@tarstarkusz R U trying to say Scotty's wrong about something? That's it! You officially not kicked off of this channel. 1) It's a free country. 2) Scotty's a big boy and he can take it. Is it too late to sign up for winning the thingamajig or the whatchamacallit?

Not using an adapter, but I have a 2016 Toyota Rav-4 and Samsung S6 where the blue-tooth doesn't work consistently.
What would you do to determine if the problem was the car or phone or both ?
Watching this video, I kinda suspect that the USB is outputting too much interference from the Rav-4.

You are absolutely right! I was using a FM transmitter that actually wasn’t cheap, but I did buy it at Best Buy & there’s something to be said for brick and mortar. The problem I was having was a high frequency hum, not a ground loop as many people experience. Long story short I looked up reviews on a better transmitter that used Bluetooth and purchased it online. I was having a problem arming/disarming my alarm system. We have an identical truck with an identical alarm system (and I mean identical) that could be armed and disarmed from a very good distance away. Turns out that’s what was causing my problem not to mention garage door opener frequencies etc... you are absolutely right!

Anker and Aukey make excellent 12V-USB adapters.

I the fast-charge circuit on the Anker is great since I also use my phone as the primary media control control and navigator at the same time, so it's always drawing a lot of power.

A poorly designed cheap circuit which is basically in this case a high frequency switching power booster it can create a lot of stray parasitic oscillations. On a good design which in most cases would have to be larger for good filtering of the stray noise created by the high speed high frequency switch mode circuitry. This requires chokes and inductors and so on which there is no space for this on the small size of these units. The DC going in at 12v is clean. The switching of the circuitry dirties it up and chops up the sine wave and creates spikes most of the time on a square waveform and then is supposed to be cleaned up on the output side of the unit with an array of inductors to smooth it all back out. The EMI and RF emitted can be extreme. Being in a plastic case makes it even worse to control.
