I have a question and answer it whenever you want if you want. I have a 2004 mercury grand marquis. The ac just went bad and the oil filter has a slight leak. Hidden gremlins in my future? Or just minor ford fixes thank you.

Timothy Wegner - well, yes like Toroya and Lexus except for the sucking part.

Someone in my family used to be a Renault devotee, LOL had a few of those and later a Jeep Cherokee with issues then one of those terrifyingly bad Mitsubishi Eagle subcompact sedans. After the Eagle, got a Vibe then despite how good that car was got a Versa.

I told them, sell the Versa before the CVT craps, out and buy another Toyota.

This car rocks! I love mine, I traded a Lexus for it and have had fewer problems, the car has 178k. I hear that the G35/37 are actually better than the Q50 which replaced it later.

I love this car. It's just a bigger Nissan 350z, or it has the same engine. That's why it's so fast. One of my favorite cars ever produced.

Hi Scotty, I truly love your videos, your blend of goofy humor and
insight into cars has such variance from those who take themselves too
seriously. My question is one of Maintenance. I have a 2015 Mazda 3
GT.. It has been a wonderful car(and I have owned some clunkers, so I
KNOW). I currently have 65,000 miles on it and change the oil(with
synthetic as required by my warranty) every 7500 miles. I have not done
anything else to it except brakes, tires, and wiper blades. I am
looking to give it a little tlc.. Transmission fluid and filter, air
filter and ??????? That is my question, what would you recommend to
keep things as close to new as possible.. It is the 2.5 liter model,
but I think there are a lot of us out here with newer cars, that are
well built(BY THE JAPANESE!!! I had to fight with 3 dealers to make
sure I got a Japanese made one and not a Mexican made one), and want to
do preventive maintenance on a budget without necessarily following the
          dealers playbook. Tx in advance..

Nissans were great cars right up until they were bought by Renault in 1998. Immediately, beginning with the 1999 models, they became POS.

I'm glad to see that you have finally seen the light in regard to to the G series Infinitis, Scotty. For years they have been very highly regarded in terms of reliability and balance between performance, comfort, and luxury. The drivetrains are ultra reliable, especially the manual transmission variants coupled with the engine oil galley fix done from 2011 on. And yes, they are fast good handling cars in stock form, but if performance is your bag, minimal intake and exhaust mods coupled with a good tune REALLY ups the HP, and slight lowering plus slightly thicker sway bars and some sticky tires turn these things into extremely capable back road/track monsters, without affecting ride comfort substantially. The brakes on the S series especially are incredible too, and the net result is a car that is especially rewarding to drive and can put to shame it's German sedan competitors with magnitudes less repair issues. As an added bonus as far as I'm concerned the sedan versions not only offer rear seats that actually fit normal sized humans very well, but are also stiffer and lighter than their zoomy two door coupe sister. What's not to love about these things?
